•  FOR RENT Rio Marina charming location with a seafaring flavor in the heart of the east coast of the Island of Elba   The LOFT AZZURRO in fact contains completely new furnishings and finishes with recycled materials related to the sea, which create a bungalow atmosphere on the beach without sacrificing comforts   The apartment is located in the historic center, inside a typical alley (Via Garbibaldi) reachable directly from the town square or from a staircase that passes in front of the Monerario Museum arrives directly to the Rio Marina seafront   On 1 floor with independent entrance, inside it has undergone a conservative restoration that has enhanced its atmosphere. It consists of a single room with a kitchenette (small fridge without freezer, microwave oven, electric plate with two burners,  washing machine); a double sofa bed (2 singles 90x190) a doublesofabed (140x190), bathroom with shower, toilet, sink.
  The LOFT is equipped with TV, ari conditon and WiFi connection.   
  Rio Marina is a pretty town with a history linked to mineral extraction and fishing and tourism activities, where you can still breathe the typical atmosphere of the villages inhabited by "seafarers", with small shops, typical sweets and dishes, restaurants where you can taste the catch of the day cooked with extreme care and with recipes that are sometimes very old. Possibility of water activities such as boat rental, diving center with PADI certification and sailing school.   The small beach of La Torre is gravel and is located in the center of the town, while nearby is the beautiful bay of Ortano, the beach of Le Fornacelle, Topinetti, Cala Seregola, the Calette de il Portocciolo, Gennaro, Luisi d'Angelo to end with Cavo up to Porto Azzurro and Capoliveri.   The town is also home to numerous cultural and sporting events throughout the year, including festivals. Among the typical dishes of the area there are cod cooked with the recipe of the typical "Stoccafisso" as well as the "Sbrurrita", the "Schiaccia Briaca" and the traditional "Sportella di Pasqua".   Rio Marina is also an ideal base for exploring the island of Elba, as it offers a strategic position almost in the center of the island as well as the convenience of being able to disembark directly with the Toremar ferry
